SIC RESIDENCY AWARD 2025
The SIC Dance Festival is no-profit event and its heart lies in the opportunity for participants to be selected for a paid residency: the “SIC RESIDENCY AWARD 2025”!
In an age where nations build walls, we choose to build cultural and human bridges between countries. We believe that only through these connections can a nourishing peace be possible. For this reason, each year we select at least one non-Italian artist for the residency—offering international artists a chance to immerse themselves in Southern Italian culture, while giving the people of Lecce the opportunity to engage with voices from abroad.

The program offers selected national and international artists an immersive experience to create a one-of-a-kind performance, blending contemporary dance with each artist’s personal exploration of ancient Salentine choreutics.
